The Science Activity Manual &
Video Collection
Download Page
Hi,
I'm so glad to see you here!
The fact that you're reading this tells me it's important to you to help your kids learn about the world around them and enjoy the process.
This is my philosophy too, so it's good to connect with you.
Oh, by the way, I'm Aurora, and I'll be your kid's guide on this incredible science adventure :-)

Before you get started with the videos and experiments, I thought it would be helpful for you to have some background on what you can expect.
If your kids' have been using my step-by-step science learning materials or science curriculum, you know how kids respond to it:
1. They get really excited about the experiment or project they're working on. They insist that they have to finish it and don't want to be interrupted (Even by things like video games and pizza).
2. Next, they'll show you what they've created, and you can see the pride in their smile. (Since they can do most activities on their own, some parents are surprised at what their kids are really capable of.)
3. That evening, they'll ask something at dinner that usually makes everyone at the table freeze for a couple of seconds with that feeling of "Did he really just ask that? I had no idea he knew so much..."
I know that the experiments in the "Science Activity Manual and Video Collection" that you're about to download will do this for your kids - please email me and let me know how it goes!
But, I need to warn you...
Serious academic types sometimes look down on on how I teach... Until they see how well the kids have actually learned science. I'll give you the download instuctions in a moment,
but I thought you would want to know why your kids will respond
differently to this material than to just about anything else out there.
I was So Confused
I've been a teacher and engineer for a lot of years. I've been through more school and degrees than I can remember sometimes (I think the PhD work I did in Engineering at Stanford was after the graduate work At Cal Poly... or was it before... :-)
I mean, I should know a thing or two about teaching. At first, I taught the way other teachers did, and honestly, I got evaluations that were even a bit higher than most other teachers. When I was on the faculty at California Polytechnic University, I remember being stunned that I was rated as one of the best teachers in the Mechanical Engineering department.
But what really shocked me was that I knew so many of my students left my class at the end of the term and didn't remember much of what we spent the past 10 weeks studying. And it wasn't just my classes, it was everyone's - lots of teacher's students were way worse.
But that's just the way it is...
Or so I was told. Research has shown that most students will remember less than 20% of what they learned in a given class after one year. I was told that this is "to be expected".
Horsefeathers!
That's just NOT good enough for me, or for my kids. I knew it could be better - way better.
So, I spent the next six years studying how some of the best teachers taught. I discovered that in some cases students would remember over 80% of what they learned! So, it really was possible. That's when I totally revamped the way I taught. Almost immediately, students in my classes started learning huge amounts of material.
And what was even better is that they WANTED to learn more.
As I refined how I taught, other professors even criticized me because I was making them look bad! After all, they had been teaching for for 25 years and here was this young hotshot redheaded girl having her students far outperform theirs (most of them were stuffy old men). I even tried to show them how they could do it themselves (some of them actually listened too!)
Here's The Secret
When I studied people who were the most successful (and happiest) scientists and teachers. Then, it was obvious. They started by getting their hands dirty first. They did hands-on experiments aimed at solving a problem or creating an invention.
Most of the research and academic stuff came later. It was secondary.
All the best scientists focus first on the hands-on experiments, then their results drive them to do the research and to understand the more "academic" stuff.
Since discovering this, it has become the foundation of my teaching.
The bottom line is simply this.
Kids learn to understand the world around them better, and
learn the academics better when they're taught science using this hands-on approach.
I've seen this work in literally thousands of kids I've taught, and I've seen it in the kids that many other parents have taught using this same approach.
In fact, it works great whether I teach kids live or or through videos and books.
Hey - do you see the power of this? Can you see how it can help your kids...and how its helped so many other kids?
Well I've got news for you: THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!
The experiments and activites in the Science Activity Video Seies are just a tiny sample of what is in my award-winning "e-Science" online science program. It's like going to the best hands-on science class you can find, but your kids do it at home and on your schedule.
I mean what would it mean to you to be able to have your kids learn science in this incredible way all year long?
How about if you didn't even need to teach it to them yourself?
This means that if you don't have the time or the background to teach science, it's not a problem. I'll take care of it.
AND, I promise you'll be amazed with how excited your kids get about learning.
My goals in creating my e-Science science program were to:
1. Help kids to learn science in a way that enables them to really understand the world around them, plus learn solid logical and critical thinking skills (while having a great time doing it).
2. Make it easy for parents to teach science to their kids... even if you don't have a background in science or don't have a lot of time to spend on teaching it.
..In other words, your kids learn real science and have fun doing it - and you don't have to stress over teaching it, plus you can feel confident that they are getting a really high quality science education that will prepare them well for life.
I've refinined these strategies as a part of my e-Science online science program.
Imagine kids saying "I'll play video games later - I'm in the middle of an experiment!"
You may have heard people talk about this before. After all, last year alone over 1800 kids were enrolled in e-Science. You probably even know a family that enjoyed it.
Okay, so now you know a bit about HOW I teach science and WHY I'm so committed to it.
I'm sure you're excited to get started with the activities, so without any further delay...
Here's your download link!
Download the Science Activity Guidebook from the link below (it contains instructions for accessing the videos).
Then, give the Guidebook & Videos to your kids - either for a science lesson, or even just a fun activity - and see what happens.
In fact, show it to your kids right now and see how they respond.

And please, I'd be grateful for any feedback you have - good or bad. (Just email me at science@SuperchargedScience.com).
I want to thank you for trusting me to help teach your kids about our world.
Warmly,
Aurora
