Science Teleclass Series

How to rocket launch your child's science education with minimal fuss...

An online home-study class that wil change how your kids learn science forever.

It's FINALLY ready... it's been more than four years that our parents and kids have been asking us to make our live Science Workshops available to everyone, everywhere.

It's been more than two years since we started creating this course...

And now we are going to show you how to unleash your child's true potential, no matter what level they're at.

The Science Video Teleclass Series is a complete hone-study online program. This course will be focused on not only science projects and experiments that stick to your brain and really drive home the basic scientific principles...

...but also the ways that we use to generate curiosity, ignite interest, and get your mind going on science - and we are going to show you exactly how to build, blast, mix, and discover - all without leaving your home.

I am going to try something very different here.

All the marketing experts tell me that I am supposed to hit you over the head with marketing hype if I have any hope of "selling" you my Science Teleclass Series online class.

Well, I hope those marketing experts are all wrong because I am about to break all their rules.

You see, I figure this is a letter among friends. Our business has been built by word-of-mouth and live stage performances over the past twelve years. Odds are that one time or other we've either talked, exchanged emails, or performed live on-stage in front of you.

So I am going to treat you like a friend here - and that means I am going to leave out all the hype that those marketing folks tell me to put in.

There is a lot of information in this letter. That is because I want you to make an informed decision... I want you to be sure about your decision when you order the course. I don't want to sell this course to the wrong person. So let's get started...

OK, if this is going to be no-holds barred, I am going to start in a rather unlikely spot... and I am going to be completely blunt:

Why You Shouldn't Buy This Course...

There are definitely some people who should NOT order in this course. No offense, but if any of these describe you, well... you should probably not be on this web page...

  • Please don't purchase the Science Teleclass if you feel that science is a subject that can be covered just once and that's the end of it. ("We did physics last year...")

  • Don't order this course if you are looking for a "curriculum" that will magically make your kid smarter without doing a thing.

  • And if you think learning science should be perfectly easy, non-messy, and learned only through a textbook, you should just click away from this page right now.

The world is full of wonderful educational opportunities, but only if you know how to tap into them. That is what the Science Teleclass Home Study Course is all about...

This course is for serious students (or serious beginners) who know that it takes work and knowledge to succeed in truly learning anything. If you are willing to put forth the effort, then the Science Teleclass Series is the blueprint that you need to rocket launch your science education.

Let me tell you why...

Facts and Truths

Let's begin with two eternal truths about human behavior that will never change (and this is the key to why these methods work in learning science).

Eternal Truth #1: Before you teach anything, you need to grab their attention.

In today's world, we're so inundated with information that in order to really teach something new, you need to first get their attention. Think about food commercials. Advertisers first focus on getting you 'hooked', catching your eye - before they ever deliver their real message. And that's what you need to do when teaching science.

You've got to stack the deck with things that inspire natural curiosity. How do you know when you're doing this right? You know you've made an impact when your kid's entire body says, "WOW!", complete with the eye bulge, slack-jaw, blank stare that accompany this universal state of brain-pretzel. Get and do things that are different enough to get their brain pumping and to put the fun back into it for you, too.

Eternal Truth #2: Never give away the ending.

How often in textbooks or classrooms have you seen this one? Every detail in the project is outlined step-by-step, leaving no room for questions, speculation, or new ideas. No scientist in their right mind will do a scientific experiment if they already know the ending!

This mistake often has the undertone of being in a rush. Learning takes time, and it needs to go through different stages to make a lasting impression. Just as a farmer can't plant crops too late in the season, then try to rush them to grow, certain aspects of learning takes time.

Giving away the ending is the fastest way to kill your child's curiosity. When a kid asks you, "Do you think this will work?" remember that it's just a test. What they are really asking is, "Can I try it?" To which you can confidently answer, "I don't know. Let's try it!"

Short-cutting this process will kill your child's passion for science... and "science" is defined as "the effort to discover and understand how the physical world works".

Be Proactive, Not Reactive
In Your Child's Education

You have a choice here - you can either decide to drive your child's education, or let others do it for you. If you let others decide what's best for you, chances are that your personal goals in education for your child aren't being met.

Before you decide on a curriculum, textbook, or learning course (science or not), you first need to decide what your goals are, what your destination is. Just like an airplane... the pilot needs to know where he's going, or he's not going to get there. Same with your education - you need to know where you're headed - what your educational goals are for your child in the long term. And so many people skip this vital step.

There's another big step that follows, though. Once you figure out your educational goals, you need to have a way to track your progress, to measure your success. That why airplanes have navigational instruments. Sure, the plane takes off and zooms east, but if they didn't constantly correct their course for wind, thermals, and other things, they still wouldn't hit their target. (Did you now that an airplane is "off course" about 95% of the time?) Finding ways to measure your progress are just as important as setting the goal.

Many people really don't have a clue about how well their child is learning... if what they're teaching is really having a lasting impact. They may do a science experiment, read a science article, but overall they are spending their time on a lot of little things... we call this "majoring in the minors". Instead, we challenge you to "major in the majors" - focus on the things that have the biggest impact on your child's education. Those"things" are wonder, discovery, and exploration. During this process, questions formulate, ideas flow, and true learning takes place from the inside out.

The World Has Watched Us Deliver
Science Education Since 1996

We (myself and my trusted team) aren't some johnny-come-lately in the science field. We have been up on stage, in the classrooms, and delivering my methods and techniques in science to over 25,000 kids since 1996. And I think we do a pretty good job with those kids.

But instead of us telling you how great our classes are, I thought I would let some of our clients tell you. There are a few of the testimonials I have on file from our raving fans...

"My son and I had fun together listening to the teleclass, following directions, building stuff and learning about science with you Aurora. He especially enjoyed the robotics class. On the last day of class he rummaged through our supply box and made a battery operated boat made of paint sticks, foam (from the marble structure) and duct tape with the motor and propeller that you sent. He tried it out in the bath tub and it worked so well he took it to a local stream and buzzed around. Now he wants to learn how to make it go faster and figure out how to steer it! Your energy is contagious. I have tried to sign him up for one of your summer classes but they were full. Thanks for making this available online."

Teri Brown
Morro Bay, CA

"Aside from being able to spell "science", I was absolutely clueless. Until you and Supercharged Science came along! Having home-educated two now-grown sons (one of whom is now a chemical engineer), I figured textbooks and the cursory "kitchen lab" was what faced my seven-year-old son until he reached college. WOW! I was SO wrong! Even I look forward to Science class now! And my son...! He's so excited about the projects, he doesn't want to do anything else (unless it's related to mixing something up or putting something together!) Thank you so very much for making science so hands-on, understandable and AH-HA! (Now where'd that creeping slime go...?)"

Bruce and Bonnie Anderson
Duluth, MN

"It is like finally meeting the science teacher you always wanted...and connecting to the wonder of science."

Rebecca

"I love that my kids think science is so fun! Not boring or hard, but fun. Thank you for helping my kids to become 'lovers of science'."

Amy

Q: What was the BEST part of the Science Teleclass? Answer: "AURORA! She is a wonderful teacher and the children loved the class. The experiments were exciting and kept the children's interest. The class was fun."
Q: What was the BEST part of the Science Teleclass? Answer: "Spending time with my son star gazing and building things."

Q: What was the BEST part of the Science Teleclass? Answer: "Cameron says everything electronics-wise; Kelley agrees with that as well. I (mom) think the best thing was few-fold: #1 the chance to talk with Aurora and ask questions #2 view the videos--a picture IS worth a thousand (or more) words. 3rd best was a fun surprise: we used our local resources and found that the supplies needed became like a treasure hunt-- we announced to our neighbors each week what we were looking for and had many items donated, like 4 foam plates for the rotor kites, a spare pulley for the physics lab, wire coat hangers for the shock lab...

"It was actually fun for them to hear what we needed each week, and then imagine what we were going to do with "that stuff." And then to see the results was quite satisfying for them to share in and us to show off! It was quite funny when we demonstrated the balloon "air" horns to our guitar teacher, demonstrating how moving the straw allowed us to could get different pitches and tones--everything from an 18-wheeler's horn to a tweeting bird. We were having a ball, then noticed his tortured face.... well, we were asking a music teacher to make a big leap, LoL...

"Thanks for a fabulous class. We will have many encouragements to share about it. Thanks again for the class, Aurora. It really meant a lot."

~Diana Bluthenthal, and boys Cam and Kelley
North Carolina

Q: What was the BEST part of the Science Teleclass? Answer: "It was so much...FUN!!! Very personable, ENERGETIC, gifted teaching. VERY user-friendly; you made everything easy to find (either with suggestions on where to get everything, or an instant link to whatever may have been more difficult to locate.

"I LOVED that I didn't need to know anything about the subject, or do much, if any, prep beforehand. AND (how could it get any better?) if we couldn't participate in the class, I just downloaded it to my computer for later!"

Q: What was the BEST part of the Science Teleclass? Answer: "Narrow down to one? 1. Experiments were so fun for the kids (and me!). (We loved burning money!!) 2. Live interaction. 3. Forum for more ideas."
Q: What was the BEST part of the Science Teleclass? Answer: "Flexibility to watch a do class on our schedule (Eastern Time)"
Q: What was the BEST part of the Science Teleclass? Answer: "As a homeschooler on the east coast I can watch and do any time... flexibility."
Q: What was the BEST part of the Science Teleclass? Answer: "Gee whiz-bang factor, by far. The kids love that they're DOING real science and getting real super-cool results, not just hearing about it."
Q: What was the BEST part of the Science Teleclass? Answer: "The projects really ignited the interests of my children. My desire is for them to become " lovers of science." The more projects we do the more they get the idea that science is fun. Not hard or boring, but fun. That is one of my main goals at this age. My kids are 9 and 6 years old. I liked having a set time each week that I had to do science. It helped me keep myself on track."
Q: What was the BEST part of the Science Teleclass? Answer: "Aurora's never ending enthusiasm!"
Q: What would you improve? Answer: "An hour wasn't long enough! We would continue to work on projects after the class but it was fun listening to Aurora and following along with her."
Q: What would you improve? Answer: " Having said that we loved the opportunity to talk with Aurora, I can say that there were a few times during the live classes when the boys actually asked me to pause her and I couldn't --she was "LIVE"... That occurred because they wanted more time to explore the project at hand and didn't want to switch gears yet.... I don't know that this is necessarily a drawback that could be "improved"; it does present me with the task of drawing *them* back into that halted train of thought to resume the exploration.. which ended up not happening as much as I would have liked... there were new ideas appearing non-stop both in their minds and projects from the class. That's NOT a bad thing-- we were not sitting idle for lack of something to do."
Q: What would you improve? Answer: "You did everything with so much fore-thought and preparation, and such excellent execution of each subject and experiment ... I can't think of a single thing!"

Q: What would you improve? Answer: "1. Too fast. Would be great if it were drawn out to be one teleclass per month so we could work on that subject for the month. This was a lot of stuff to buy in a short period of time. 2. Would be great to know which items on the list we'll need for the next class. This way we could have those items ready for class. Helps when you have limited space!! 3. Offer a kit for the harder-to-find items for purchase. (To include items for all the classes in one kit or offer multiple kit options.)"

Note from Aurora: We've taken your idea and run with it! We now have materials lists for every week.

Q: What would you improve? Answer: " I found that it was easier to watch the live class myself, then lead the kids through it after. It allowed me to figure out what substitutions could be made in advance. Also, there are simply too many materials required. I'm in an unusual situation in that we moved shortly after the classes began. We didn't bring our entire household with us in the move. I don't have access now to multiple flashlights and whatnot. I'd have to buy all the things on the lists from scratch."

Note from Aurora: You can preview the materials list here to see what you already have at your house...

Q: What needed to be improved? Answer: "There were plenty of projects included in the teleclass. Sometimes the pace was a little off, but that would be very hard to improve on, since you are teaching a wide variety of ages and abilities. You guys are doing a fantastic job!"
Q: How old are the kids who participated in this program? Answer: " I intended the class mainly for my oldest three, which are 13, 10, 8. They were able to do the class and experiments without help. They loved the class and learned so much. My 3yo, 5yo, and I teamed up and did the experiments together. They had fun and I was surprised at how much they understood. The baby participated, but running off with the experiment supplies wasn't exactly helpful."
Q: How old are the kids who participated in this program? Answer: "2 boys, ages 11.5 and 9.5, plus a 44 yr old mom who learned alongside and reveled in watching her kids take interest in science, keep trying when things didn't work, and springboard with new ideas and things to try. Goal achieved. Thank you, Aurora."
Q: How old are the kids who participated in this program? Answer: "12, 10, 9, 8, and 6."
Q: How old are the kids who participated in this program? Answer: " One son, age 7 (so was very grateful for the ability to download these experiments so he can do them again when he'll more fully understand some of them). Wish I would have had this opportunity with my now-grown sons...they would've had SUCH a blast! (My younger is now a chemical engineer.) "
Q: How old are the kids who participated in this program? Answer: " My kids are 7 and 9 years of age. My 9 year old was very interested and could follow the class with no problem. My 6 year old would of been lost without my help. With a bit more explanation on my part, my 6 year old did fine."

We received a sample kit and brought it home for them to try. As soon as they saw the gadegets they were hooked. But the best part is when they put one of the projects together (without my help) I knew I'd made a great investment. Their faces said it all. And when I told them I bought the whole kit, they were in anticipation everytime the mail truck went bye. Thanks Aurora for making us the greatest parents on the planet."

~Hope and Charles, Kissimmee, Florida

"I'm sold! My son didn't come to CHAP so he didn't see your enthusiasm or your neat kits but when he gets going on the robotics kit I bought him I know he'll love it. He's really going to want to get the submersible kit too."

~Christine Gurzler, Drums, PA

"Aurora, I love getting your Rocket Scientist Newsletter. I really appreciate the fact that you break down the projects into 1, 2 or even three e-mails. This allows us to really delve into each step one at a time gaining a true understanding of it before moving on to the next step."

"I teach high school special education science, seeing concrete activites helps my students to relate to the activity better."

~Lori, Toms River, NJ

"We homeschool our 8 year old daughter, and as a dad who works in the sciences, I'm often expected to take on the role of visiting science instructor. Since we are not yet following a set science curriculum, what I like to do is fun demonstrations and experiemnts like we would find at a science museum. Your newsletter has allowed me to do this because I can collect ideas and then do a unit (like your aerodynamics series, which has been so great!) when we have a weekend session. When we are ready, we will buy a whole curriculum, but in the meantime, the "Free Stuff" and newsletter activities give us alot of ideas to choose from. Thanks for the passion you put into your work, and keep it coming!"

~Jon Raybourne, Rogue River, Oregon

"The projects and experiments that we receive every week are constructive and easy to understand. the principles behind each one is not too technical and does not blunt the enthusiam of the learner."

~Henry James, Durban - South Africa

~Vicky Godley, Newhall, CA

That is just a sampling of the notes we have received. There are a lot more... but they all really say the same thing - we are really good at this. We know science, and we know how to deliver it in a way that makes the biggest impact with our students.

But that doesn't matter nearly as much as this question:

How Can This Improve
YOUR Child's Education?

It took me two years to squeeze twelve years of teaching experience into this Science Teleclass Home Study Course, and it has been an exhausting process. The work on this course began back in 2006... and completing it has become an obsession for me in the last two years. I was up until 1:00am, 2:00am, and sometimes 4:00am pretty much every day making sure we covered everything about learning science and delivering it in a way that made the most sense, had the biggest impact, and made lasting impressions on our students.

Component #1

The course topics are the heart and soul of this course. It was hard work trying to narrow down the entire field of Physics (and a bit of Chemistry) down to eight topics, but I finally did it. Click here to view the table of contents which outlines the course.

During the Science Teleclass Home Study Course, we'll be covering topics in:

  • Electricity
  • Physical Motion
  • Aeronautics
  • Light, Optics, and Lasers
  • Robotics
  • Chemistry
  • Astronomy

Want more detail? Here's the real stuff...

  • Aeronautics Construct stunt planes, hang gliders, rotor kites, pneumatic rockets, and play with the air itself as you uncover the physics of flight using Bernoulli's Principles for wing design.

  • Electricity Wire up circuits, relays, motors, lights, switches, and much more as you build homemade burglar alarms using Maxwell's Electromagnetic Principles.

  • Astronomy Take an intergalactic tour of the universe without leaving your seat! Discover massive black holes, neutron stars, and why the sun regularly burps and spits fireballs into space. Learn about the planets, how to see the moons of Jupiter, and much more in this wide galaxy we call home. (Class is carefully structured and presented in a non-evolution, non-creation viewpoint so everyone can participate.)

  • Robotics Construct a mechanized animal robot from junk you have around the house! Learn to wire up motor circuits and remote controls as you build several zooming, hopping, swimming, wheeling, dancing robots.

Component #2

The HOW and WHY are just as important as the whiz-bang oooh-wow factors, and each and every class will cover this in detail. Here's how the Science Teleclass sessions work. (All our classes in the Science Home Study course are LIVE audio recordings of Aurora teaching real kids.)

We'll start with an introduction to the topic at hand (for example, when we cover Aeronautics, we'll talk about the universal Laws of Physical Motion). We'll move into our experiment (which utilizes the principles just discussed). At this point, students watch a video and perform their activity.

After the experiment, we may have a follow-up discussion, and then into our second experiment with further explores the concepts first introduced. We end the class with parent tips and resources (how to teach your child more lessons during the week), issue the "homework" (additional experiments, projects, and worksheets), and both the kids and parents are off and running!

If you're doing only a bit of science this season, then the Science Teleclass home Study Course can be your entire science program. However, if you're planning to go into more than just surface-depth, then this course functions as the foundation of your science lessons and dovetails right along with other popular science curriculums (such as Alpha Omega, Bob Jones, A Becka, Apologia, and many others, Christian or no).

Of course, if you're using the Science Mastery program, this teleclass course is specifically designed to complement and expand upon the content in the program.

Component #3

The Science Teleclass course provides constant support for parents teaching science to their children, whether they are public, private, or home school kids. The teleclass course also gives resources, teaching tips, and more to ensure you reach your goals. We've got a step-by-step process to take you through that will give you a roadmap action-plan you for your child's education. But why do you need that?

Because the most-asked question we get here is this: "How much science does my child need to know?" If you're struggling with the overwhelming ocean of options, opportunities, and information, you are not alone! The best way to navigate your way through the endless offerings of curricula, books, and courses is to first get clear about what it is you really want for your child. Through the Science Teleclass Home Study course, you'll create a clear step-by-step action plan to take your child from their current state in science education to wherever you ultimately want them to be. You'll know exactly what your goals are and how to reach them and set markers and trigger points along the way to keep you on track.

Additional parent resources, teaching tips, and more. I've found the best articles, teaching books, and resources out there and have piled them up for your reference. because just having information isn't enough - you have to know what to do with it. The Science Teleclass Home Study course helps you do just that. I not only provide you with the tools for the job, we also teach you how to use them most effectively.

Component #4

We all have dozens of things to do throughout the day, and we're inundated with tons of ideas and information. Our team has designed a special Member's Only area you can access anytime for the Science Teleclass Home Study Course participants.

On the Science Teleclass web page, you'll find class recordings for every science class with Aurora, shopping list, homework, worksheets, video downloads, resources, web links, articles, and more. Everything you need for the teleclass all on one page, available anytime for participants only. This page will stay up forever. Read more about this in our FAQ.

Component #5

Two-Way Education. This course is designed for parents who want to participate and learn right along with their kids. We provide the kids with the science stuff and the parents with the teaching tools. You can go at your own pace - there's no rush.

It's also set up for kids to drive their own education and learn this stuff without their parents being involved. Your child will participate in this class, complete the projects, and turn around and teach you science. All without you being involved in the learning process. You can watch on the sidelines and cheer!

If your child is ready to take on their own education, then we completely support that and extend a hand to help them up. We recommend both of you being a part of the classes initially, and if you find that your child is zooming along on their own without your assistance, they may be in a spot where they're ready to fly by themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who teaches these classes? Aurora herself is the teacher for every one of these teleclasses!

Q: When do I get my order? After placing your order, you'll immediately be sent an email with everything you need to start doing science right now. No need to wait!

Q: Is this stuff really for kids, or do I need a PhD to understand it? Yes, it's really meant for kids and parents without a scientific background. You can literally hand this program over to your kids and have them drive their own education. We include step-by-step video instructions, printed worksheets, teaching guides, and resources to get you learning science and enjoying the process. (Don't believe us? Read testimonials from non-science participants... especially tihs one!)

Q: I am a theoretical physicist. What does is program offer that I can't? Well, if you need help thinking up new ways to illustrate scientific principles that you use everyday, this may be a good fit for you. Think of this program as the bridge between the scientific community and the everyday person... but feel free to add your own skills, talents, and flair to any of the projects.

Q: What age range is it really for? This teleclass works for kids ages 5-12 years, grade levels K-6. (For kids under 8 yrs., we recommend an adult to help with the motor-skills.) We do this in two ways: first, we assume you don't have a science bone in your body and start from there... and second, we ramp up fast enough to engage the older kids and provide many different variations for active imaginations. (Click here to read the "age appropriate-ness" testimonials from past participants.)

Q: Why do I need a computer? This is an online product. When you place your order, we send you the access keys to a special website that has everything you need: videos, audios, workbooks, teaching guides, resources, and more.

Q: Why do you have video? Why not just print out directions? A picture is worth a thousand words, and we provide you not only with pictures but video with close-ups of how to do the projects. The accompanying workbook and teaching guides include further ideas not covered on the videos.

Q: What if I have a slow connection or use dial-up? No problem. If you have a slow connection or dial-up connection, download the video ahead of time so it's there on your computer when you want it.

Q: I have eight kids! Do I have to order one for each kid? No - just make sure you've got enough materials to go around for everyone. This is a great way to homeschool large families, as we provide you with a shopping list so you can purchase items in bulk.

Q: I'm a teacher - can I order this for my class? This Science Teleclass Home Study Course is intended for private use by homeschool families. For teachers and homeschool group leaders/educators/coordinators, you'll need a site license to distribute this course to your students, which is inexpensive and easy to obtain from us. Just send us a request and we'll take it from there.

Q: I already have the Science Mastery Program/Whole Shebang. Is this a repeat of what we already have? Yes. Science Mastery includes the Science Teleclass Home Study Course.

Q: What's the difference between Science Mastery Online and the Science Teleclass Home Study Program? The Science Teleclass is a smaller, less expensive, appetizer-sized version of the BIG Science Mastery Program. Science Mastery also includes unlimited support for as long as you need it.

Q: How much can I expect to spend on getting the materials for this course? That depends on how much stuff you already have. Take a peek at the shopping list for a better idea of what you may have already.

Q: How long will this course take to work through? That depends on how often you do the projects and activities. When we originally conducted the live version of this program, we offered once science class each week for two months, and participants reported spending an average of 12 hours each week on the course itself. However, most participants also reported that they usually did not complete all the projects during the week (the pace of the class was too fast and they really needed 4-5 months for the entire course), and many others told us they spent hours chasing more ideas and variations after completing one activity. Click here to view the table of contents.

Q: I don't have time to get all the materials for this! Is there an easier way? Yes - this course may not be the right fit for you. Don't worry - it's nothing personal, but the course is not going to provide you with the results you're looking for in a way that works for your family. Instead, you may want to look into a more complete program, such as Science Mastery Program, which includes all the materials you need.

What will it cost you to NOT participate in the "Science Teleclass Series" online class...

You know this... when you spend money on one thing, there's less of it to spend on something else. How much money have you already spent on your child's education in the form of books, kits, classes, sports, camps, workshops, scouts, magazine subscriptions, and more? If you tallied it all up, would the number stagger you?

Here's the question you really need to ask yourself: What has that investment really delivered for you?

If you're going to put your child through a curriculum or program (science or not), what are your top three results that are an absolute MUST for you? If you're going to spend your time, money, and energy on a program, any program, what results must it deliver?

Ignorance costs you money. Unfortunately, we all start out ignorant. The definition of ignorant is "lacking education or knowledge"... and that's what we're here to help you with. Anytime you invest both time and money, you need to be clear about what you want in return. And with that clarity comes power and knowledge. And we think that our Science Teleclass Home Study course will do just that for you.

Ok, let's wrap this up...

Testimonials

"I wish I had known about you years ago! I got the Science Mastery program, and my husband (who is an engineer and works on fighter planes), has been working with my kids since.

"He usually doesn't help homeschool my kids, but after watching the DVD, he went to the internet to look something up, then returned to us as said, 'Nope - I tried, but I like the way Aurora explains it best.'

"My kids haven't turned on the TV once this whole weekend - we're just doing experiments together and it's great!"

~Merilyn, Richmond, Virginia

"I am homeschooling my 5y. old daughter and want to send you a big THANK YOU for all you do. Science was a subject I was a bit afraid to have to venture into. But with all your help it has been NO problem.
Thanks again!"

~Dee

"Thank you for truly inspiring my kids. They're so excited to learn more. We downloaded the book and are pouring over its contents. Yeah!!!!"

~Donna, Long Beach, California

"Thank you so much for the science lessons! I had such a great time and it is very fun to learn from someone so knowledgeable."

~Sean, age 12

"You are doing an awesome thing. From talking with many homeschooling moms over the years, science is where we tend to lack in experience, and know how. Even though we find the experiments so much fun to do, we are intimidated by them. Thank you for all that you do."

~Allison A., Homeschool Co-op

"The kids are enjoying the electricity projects, and my 12 year old has concluded that you know what you are talking about!"

~Tracey S.,
Orlando, Florida

"As a Chemical Engineer I started reading this manual and boy what a joy. You have simplified so much so well. The explanations are great too as they are put in very simple terms. I can't wait to share these with my students. Keep me in mind if you put another of these manuals together."

~Mary, California

"I purchased your Electricity & Robots Kit and my daughter loves it! Thank you!"

~Paula

"My son KJ is having SO much fun!! As soon as we got home he watched the Robots & Electricity Kit video, and has been watching it since. He loves all of the gadgets! Thank you for letting him work with you. He will never forget it."

~Sally, Long Beach, California, CHEA participant

"My son is LOVING the Electricity & Robotics Kit we bought from you, and we've already hit Radio Shack a couple of times to add some new things to try. Thank you!!!"

~Candi

"I have an 8 year old daughter. The one area we are weak in is science experiments. I am glad to see you are providing an outlet for homeschoolers interested in science. Keep up the good work."

~Keith

"Wow Aurora, Your stuff is AWESOME! I am so impressed by your vast education, skills and wonderful creativity. YOU ROCK!!!"

~Judes, Santa Margarita, California

"Thank you for making science so fun and exciting! We have started watching the DVD about electricity and making robots and are working along. It's really great! My daughter has been into the life sciences -- gardening and animals and bugs. Now her interest is widening. As a home school mom I always appreciate someone, like you, who can broaden her horizons."

"I am going to love doing these experiments myself. I like the little creatures you made with cell phone parts. I love taking things apart and I look forward to knowing more about how to re-arrange the parts."

~Claudia

"Here it is summer vacation and my daughter WANTS to do one science experiment after another after seeing YOUR stuff!"

~Paul

"I told my son he had to do his science lesson for just fifteen minutes each day, which was such a chore for him.

"One day I gave him this program. Three hours later, he made us late for an appointment because he couldn't tear himself away! He watched the videos over and over and built things I've never seen before. Thank you so much!!!"

~Barbara & Matt
Valencia, California

"Aurora spoke at a Cub Scout Pack 6 meeting a few months ago and totally "wowed" the boys who attended the meeting. It was amazing to hear them talk about her and their sudden interest in science. My husband, David Church, was equally impressed with her skills and presentations."

"First thing they said when they got home that night was, "Sign me up for all her camps, I love that teacher! My son and his buddies raved about you for days."

~Connie Hanretty Church, San Luis Obispo, California

"Thanks for coming to our school and doing a bang-up job on your rocketry presentation!  The students really loved it, had a ton of fun, and learned a lot."

~Jodi, Valley Oaks Charter School, Bakersfield, California

"We just wanted to say THANK YOU for supercharging us at Valley Oaks Charter School.

"You were awesome and did an outstanding job with the experiments, presentations and putting it in kid friendly terms so they could understand. My kids now want to be rocket scientists!"

~Cynnde Lewis, Bakersfield, California

"We really enjoy your demonstrations. They are wonderful and we really loved the hovercraft you did today. Thank you for all that you are doing."

~Angela and her two youngest sons, Joseph and Kyle

"Jeremy is having SO much fun with everything - thank you all for the work & thought that has gone into the box & program!"

~Tracey Miller

"Thank you so much for coming out to do our science day. It was awesome! I have had parents contacting me all week to thank me for putting both presentations together. Actually you did all the work - thanks for making me look good!

You brought so much energy into our science program. Your presentation is inspiring, not to mention fun! You truly did inspire the young minds to think creatively about science.

Personally, my son Ryan has been doing some pretty creative thinking about his science project for our upcoming science fair. I am sure we will see many 'Aurora-inspired' entries this year!

Thank you again. My appreciation and just plain "awe" for how and what you do just can not be put into words.

Thanks again and again!"

~Lorraine Solomon, Homeschool Coordinator

"My 13-year old son has not been interested in anything educational for a long time. This was the first time I saw a real spark of interest in his eyes. Thank you so much for your help in inspiring my son!"

~Ruth Ann,
Bakersfield, California

"Alex had a great time this summer in camp. Thanks for the great experience!"

~Carol

"Thank you so much, I can't wait to begin using the Science Experiment Manual with my kids. They immediately did the rocket and began the robot.

"My youngest (10 years old) played with the robot all night and was explaining it to guests at dinner. Thanks for making science fun!"

~Mrs. Lopez

"I love it that I don't have to do a thing! I set my kids in front of the program, and later find them excited and working on something new they created themselves. This program is exactly what we needed!"

~Ursula, Santa Barbara, California

"You have been such a fun inspiration for our son Sam, and totally got him fired up to build, connect, explode, invent, test, create, discover, question...
and in a nutshell, get wildly excited about how our physical world behaves through experimentation.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank joy!

"You're a blessing and huge contributor to the positive development of our kids' minds and passions. Thanks for all you do and all you are!"

~Jan, San Luis Obispo, California
