Helping Kids Unlock Secrets to Learning Science
There’s nothing more fun and fulfilling than teaching kids science. My company, Supercharged Science, which provides educational science curriculum programs to homeschool families and teachers, evolved through time as I worked at NASA, taught mechanical engineering at Cal Poly, flew airplanes, launched rockets, and help design engines for a very special F-15.
When I first started teaching at the university, one of the things that hit me was how bored the students were in the classroom. I couldn’t figure out why they weren’t interested in science or engineering! I loved what I was working while I was at NASA, working on rockets and jets. Why didn’t the kids seem to have the same excitement? I decided to investigate further, and I looked at how kids were taught science before they reached college.
When I saw how kids were being taught science, I realized that I’d be bored, too! That’s when I decided to do something about it. That’s when I really got my start. I’m probably best known for my Rocketry Fire Show I taught to tens of thousands of students across the country during my hugely-popular intensive science workshops where we chemically turn copper into gold, learn how to walk on water, build real working robots from junk, fly away on huge aerodynamic kites, and build laser shows inside gigantic auditoriums.
For the past 13 years, I have taught parents, educators and kids through my passion for learning and made over a thousand science video demonstrations that cover hands-on science activities, experiments, and projects. My best-selling homeschool science curriculum programs get kids excited about science and prepared for the real world before they even have to fill out a college application.
To get started on doing real hands-on science with your kids, I’ve prepared for you a really quick and easy guide called The Science Activity Guidebook which has 30 quick and easy science experiments your kids can do right now. You can get it by entering your email address in the little box below. It’s yours with my compliments and I’m doing this because, just like you, I’m dedicated to helping all children get the best possible education and having a great time in the process.
If you’re really serious about learning science, then I invite you to join me for a free online science class to get a taste of how much fun science can really be by making things spark, bubble, fizz, gyrate, ooze, smoke, or flash. You’ll be totally amazed by how much fun you’re having and how much you’ve learned in an hour. Register for my next free science class here.
